Mum’s Papilles & Care

When cooking becomes
a support

The idea for Mum’s Papilles & Care was born in my kitchen, at a time when eating had become a real challenge for my mom.

Her tastes were changing, smells nauseated her, her appetite varied from one day to the next... and yet, she needed small, nourishing dishes to keep up a bit of momentum. I remember her repeating: « I'm picky... »As if to apologize, even though she wasn't responsible for anything. She simply wanted to spare us, to lighten our load.

Meanwhile, my dad still had a good appetite. Two plates, two needs, two ways of bringing comfort. And me, in the middle, trying to find the right dish: the right texture, the right amount, something that could make him want to eat again, without pressure. That’s when I realized how much meals can become a headache for families. So I wanted to turn this experience into a service that eases the days, brings a touch of gentleness, and restores a little simplicity to everyday life.

Mum’s Papilles & Care

Nutritional expertise integrated into our approach

At Mum’s Papilles & Care, nutritional balance is not added to the recipe once it has been imagined: it is part of its creation.

Annelise Hermant (AH Nutrition), a registered dietitian-nutritionist with a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences, assists Mum's Papilles & Care with the development and monitoring of our offering.

By my side, she brings her expertise to the conceptualization of recipes: nutritional balance, variety, portions, textures, food pairings, and menu evolution. Her perspective allows me to evolve my cooking with a particular focus on different appetites and the realities of daily life.

This expertise is an integral part of the Mum’s Papilles & Care service: it is not offered as an option or an extra.

Simple answers for
support you in the best possible way

How does the command work?

You choose your meals from the weekly menus and confirm your order by Tuesday at 11:59 PM (Week 1). Delivery takes place on Friday or Saturday of the following week (Week 2), depending on your municipality. A confirmation is sent to you after validation.

What is the minimum order quantity?

The minimum amount for free shipping is:
✔ 4 classic meals, or
✔ €50 purchase.
You can of course order less, but in that case, a delivery fee contribution of €5 will apply.

Do the menus change every week?

Yes. Each week, a new selection of meals, soups, and snacks is offered, based on the seasons and available ingredients.

How are the main meals stored?

The meals are packaged in a modified atmosphere (MAP), which allows for optimal preservation of 5 to 7 days in the refrigerator (0–4 °C). The exact Use By date appears on each label. The meals can be reheated in a few minutes in the microwave or traditional oven.

And the soups and snacks?

They must therefore be kept in the refrigerator and consumed within 2 to 3 days following delivery. The use-by date is indicated on each label.

Can I freeze your meals?

Yes. Main meals, soups, and certain snacks can be frozen, provided that the cold chain has been maintained. The instructions appear on the label.
